Ring Plunger and Spares for Injection Moulding Machines
Ring plungers, screw tips, nozzles, heater bands and other spares for injection moulding machines of any make.

Ring plungers and non-return valves
The ring plunger, or check ring, stops melt flowing back over the screw during injection. When it wears, shot weights vary and parts come out short. We supply ring plungers, screw tips and seats for injection moulding machines of any make and for our two colour attachments.
Spares we supply
| Screw tip assembly | Ring plunger (check ring), screw tip and seat |
|---|---|
| Nozzles | Machine nozzles and nozzle tips |
| Heating | Heater bands and thermocouples |
| Attachment spares | Combining nozzles and wear parts for two colour attachments |
| Injection unit | Screws, barrels and end caps |
Keep a set on the shelf
A spare ring plunger and screw tip costs very little compared with a machine standing idle. Many of our customers keep one set per machine, and we make sure the parts match the original exactly.
Ordering spares
Send us the machine make and model, the screw diameter, and a photo of the old part. We confirm the part, the price and the dispatch date.
Questions moulders ask us
What is a ring plunger?
It is the check ring at the tip of the screw. It lets melt flow forward during plasticising and seals during injection so the shot does not flow back.
How do I know the ring plunger is worn?
Shot weights vary, the cushion is unstable and parts come out short even when settings have not changed.
Can you match a part for an old machine?
Usually, yes. Send a photo and measurements of the old part with the machine make and model.
Tell us your machine. We will tell you what fits.
Send the make, model and tonnage of your injection moulding machine and the product you want to make. We reply with the right attachment, a price and a delivery date.
